We are sew excited to be stitching out the by Annie Potluck Pals Pie Carrier. 

We do request that you have some bag making experience. If you have any questions regarding this class please give us a call at (423)626-5337   

This class will take place over the course of 2 days Friday & Saturday May 17th & 18th. Both days class will run from 9:30 - 4:30. 

The class fee will include both days for: $58.00 

Day 1 well will complete all the prep work, cutting fabric, making strapping, quilting, sub cutting quilted pieces, making fabric pulls, and preparing bias binding. 

Day 2 we will focus on bag assembly. Taking all the previously prepared parts from day 1 and crafting them into a one of a kind pie carrier.  

Supplies:

Cutting mat, Long ruler, & rotary cutter

Small pressing mat & iron

Thread & matching bobbin ( you may want several different colors to match your different fabrics) 

1/4 inch piecing foot

Zipper foot

Straight stitch foot

Walking foot ( not required but recommended)  

( We will provide your pattern paper ) 

Pins & wonder clips

A fine tip metal end stiletto ( such as the By Annie Stiletto ) 

A washable fabric marking pen 

Tube turning tool ( not required but recommended ) 

Scissors 

Potluck Pals Pattern

(1/8 of a yard) 3/4 inch or 1 inch both hook and loop side Velcro 

(1) 40 inch double slide handbag zipper

(1) pack of 18"x58" By Annie's Soft and Stable 

(1& 1/4 yards) of 1& 1/2 inch of strapping 

(1/2 of a yard) Main Fabric for outer  body of carrier. 

(1/2 of a yard) Contrasting fabric for handles, binding, & zipper pulls.

(1 yard) Coordinating fabric for lining of carrier.

An 11x11 inch piece of foam core, heavy cardboard, or plaskolite (This if for the very bottom of the bag, and can be made of many different items. It is not required for class where it can be added at anytime after the bag is completed.)
